Moroccan Earthquake Situation Report #4

Highlights:

· As of September 12th, the Moroccan government reports 2,901 fatalities and 5,530 people injured.

· At least 1,663 buildings have been affected.

· A field hospital has been established in the Tafencolt community.

· More than 300 tons of medical supplies have been deployed to the affected areas. The government has stated that this is sufficient to meet the medical needs of survivors.

· The EU has allocated 200,000 Euros to the Moroccan Red Crescent.

· European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid personnel and UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination teams have been deployed to Rabat.
