Lewiston, ME Mass Shooting Situation Report #1

Highlights:

· At 6:56pm there were multiple shootings reported in Lewiston, ME.

· The number of fatalities and injured has not been confirmed yet.

· Androscoggin County has issued a county-wide shelter in place order which includes Lewiston and Lisbon.

· The State of Maine has announced that Robert R. Card is a person of interest in these shootings:

o He is considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised not to approach him.

o This individual’s car was discovered in Lisbon.

· A Relocation Center has been established to answer questions from the public and to report missing loved ones.

· The State Emergency Operations Center has been partially activated.

· The Federal Bureau of Investigation is coordinating with the affected law enforcement agencies and stands ready to assist.

· The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents are responding to assist local law enforcement.
