Las Vegas Cyber Truck Explosion Situation Report #1

Highlights:

• At approximately 8:40am PT a Tesla cyber truck exploded as it pulled up to the front door of the Trump Tower in Las Vegas, NV:

o One person inside the vehicle was killed, and seven others were injured. Only two people were transported to area hospitals and subsequently discharged.

o The vehicle which was a 2024 Cyber Truck was rented by the person killed in Colorado and driven to Las Vegas.

• The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are working on positively identifying the person killed and notifying their next of kin.

• Multiple gasoline canisters and fireworks were discovered in the trunk of the vehicle.

• The Governor has directed State agencies to support Las Vegas and the Federal investigation into this incident.

• This is considered an isolated incident, and the investigation continues.
